“I would highly recommend this school to any prospective parents. It is warm, friendly and a wonderful place for children to develop and grow – we love the school!”
“We love Skelton Community Primary School. There is something very special about village schools and Skelton is no exception. It really is like a big family where everyone knows everyone else and with teachers who genuinely care about the children and want them to have fun too! We’re so lucky to live within walking distance of this fantastic little school. Very happy with our choice and the support our child has had so far.”
“The school feels comfortable and safe even for the smallest children. There are always fun events; school discos, fairs and non-uniform days as well as a number of extra-curricular clubs where my daughter enjoys learning French and improving her gymnastic skills.”
“The school has improved drastically – we are very pleased!”
“An amazing village school with first class teachers. The whole `community and family feel’ in this school is fantastic. My children are so happy here.”
“In Nursery, our girls were allowed to explore the new environment through play. They were very well looked after by their dedicated teaching assistant, who developed a very warm relationship with them. They enjoyed going to nursery and loved interacting with the older boys and girls.”
“Absolutely fantastic school. It is the best decision we have ever made to bring our child to you. Thank you all so much.”
“As a small school, our children are known by all the teachers and pupils and are looked after by various older pupils and the teachers kept a close eye on them. They have always felt safe and loved in the school.”
“We are really pleased my child is doing so well and that her imagination is well valued.”
“The transition to reception has been very easy and the teacher is lovely and knows the girls inside out. The small class size has been a real bonus and their reading and writing has come on in leaps and bounds. They are always up to interesting and exciting new things. They love going to school and having a lot of fun.”
